Arlene Cronk, the owner of Invitations & Company, has the ideal background
for helping both the social and business client. An art history major in
college, Arlene holds a masters in social work. In addition, she worked for
many years in corporate marketing communications and public relations —
where, among her other duties, she organized many special events. Since
starting Invitations & Company, Arlene has also become a
recognized leader in the wedding business communities of both Boston and
New York.
She started The Bridal Survival Club in both cities — a support
group for the soon-to-be-married who want a place to talk with other people
going through the wedding planning experience.

Arlene understands the excitement of the
wedding begins with the planning of the
wedding — which is why selection of the right
wedding professionals is so important. That's why she founded and is a past president of the Boston Wedding Group (BWG). The BWG is a professional association dedicated to helping wedding vendors enhance the couple's wedding planning experience. As a result of her success in Boston, Arlene was invited to start the New York Wedding Group, of which she was the president for the years 2004 and 2005.
As a business leader, Arlene has been featured
in numerous articles and news programs,
including Business Week, Newsweek, The
Boston Business Journal, Inside Edition, The
New York Daily News, Inside New York, Weekend New York, Chronicle, Channels 4, 5,
7, 25 and 56 in Boston, and Channels 5 and 11
in New York.
